I am Shekita Long, a Certified Community Health Worker, Mindfulness-Based Childbirth Educator, and Birth Doula. My work integrates evidence-based childbirth education with mindfulness practices to support families in preparing for labor, birth, and postpartum. In addition to my doula and educator roles, I co-lead Plant Parenthood Detroit and serve on the board of the Detroit Psychedelic Society, where I explore the intersections of holistic health, community care, and parenting.
